Terms of Service

The contract between you and App Campus for the public site, the paid course, the member portal, and Campus Code.

Last updated September 4, 2026

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") are a contract between you and App Campus, the operator of https://appcampus.dev (the "Service"). By visiting the site, creating an account, paying, or using the portal or Campus Code, you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree, do not use the Service. If you use App Campus for an organization, you confirm you have authority to bind that organization.

2. The Service

App Campus is a paid course and a set of tools that help you design, build, and ship software with AI assistance. The public marketing site, checkout, member portal, documents, kits, community, support, and Campus Code are part of the Service.

We may change features, lesson order, models, limits, and hosting as we operate the product. We will not take away access to a course you paid for without a serious reason under these Terms (for example, fraud or a legal order).

Third-party products you connect (GitHub, Railway, Stripe on your own apps, model APIs) are not App Campus. Their terms apply to those products.

3. Accounts

You must provide an accurate email and keep your password secret. You are responsible for activity on your account.

  • Use the email you paid with so we can attach the purchase to the account.
  • You must be at least 16, or older if your country requires it, and have capacity to contract for paid purchases.
  • One person, one account, unless we agree otherwise in writing.
  • The portal may lock to a single active device. Signing in elsewhere can sign the first device out.
  • Tell us at once at support@appcampus.co if you think the account was used without you.

4. Payments, access, and refunds

The course is sold as a one-time digital purchase at the price shown at checkout (currently advertised as $29 USD unless we change the offer). Payment is processed by Stripe. Taxes may be added where Stripe or the law requires.

Access is granted after Stripe confirms payment and you create or sign in to the matching account. If checkout succeeds but the portal does not unlock, email support@appcampus.co and we will fix access.

Digital goods are delivered immediately. If you cannot use what you paid for because of a fault on our side, email us and we will restore access or refund as appropriate. Chargebacks filed without first writing to us may lead to account closure. Nothing here limits a mandatory consumer refund right that your country will not let you waive.

Campus Code usage may be metered (credits or rate limits). Hosted model capacity is not unlimited. BYOK keys are billed by the provider you chose, not by App Campus.

5. Acceptable use

You will not:

  • Break the law, or use the Service to build or operate something whose main purpose is crime, fraud, or unsolicited abuse.
  • Attack, scrape beyond normal use, or overload the Service.
  • Share your login, resell course videos as if they were yours, or pirate the materials.
  • Upload malware, or attempt to extract other students' data.
  • Harass people in community or support.
  • Use Campus Code to generate or deploy content that you do not have rights to, or that violates a third-party term you accepted.
  • Bypass payment, device lock, or other access controls.
  • Pretend to be App Campus or misrepresent an official relationship.

We may remove content, disconnect integrations, rate-limit, or close an account that breaks this section.

6. Campus Code and connected services

Campus Code can write files, call models, and, if you connect them, act on GitHub and Railway with the scopes you approve. You authorize us to store encrypted tokens and to use them only to perform actions you request in the product.

You can disconnect GitHub or Railway and remove BYOK keys. Disconnecting does not automatically delete repos or Railway projects already created on those platforms. You manage those in the vendor consoles.

You are responsible for secrets you paste into a project, for production data you point a generated app at, and for complying with the provider rules for any key you bring.

7. AI output, ownership, and responsibility

Models produce suggestions, code, copy, and images that can be wrong, insecure, incomplete, or similar to other people's work. Output is not legal, financial, or professional advice.

As between you and App Campus, you own the project files and generated code that the Service writes into your Campus Code workspace, to the extent the law and the model provider's terms allow an assignment or license of that output. You are responsible for reviewing it, testing it, securing it, and deciding whether you can use it in production or for customers.

App Campus does not claim copyright in your prompts or in the apps you ship, except that we may use de-identified product telemetry to operate and improve the Service. We do not claim ownership of your GitHub repositories.

You grant App Campus a limited license to host, process, and display your content as needed to run Campus Code, community, support, and backups. That license ends when the content is deleted from our systems, except for copies we must keep under the Privacy Policy.

8. Our intellectual property

The course videos, written lessons, kits, prompts, component registry, site design, marks, and software that make up App Campus remain ours or our licensors'. Your purchase is a personal license to use the materials for your own learning and for building your own products. It is not a license to republish the course, clone the portal, or offer App Campus as your own program.

9. Community and user content

Posts you publish in community are visible to other members as the product is designed. Do not post secrets, other people's personal data, or anything you cannot share. We may remove posts that break these Terms. Support messages are read by us, not by the public.

10. No warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, quiet enjoyment, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that Campus Code will produce a working business, a secure app, a deploy that stays up, or a paying customer. Hosted models, GitHub, Railway, and Stripe can fail for reasons outside our control.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, App Campus and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost goodwill, or business interruption, even if we were told they were possible.

Our total liability for all claims arising out of the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or USD $29 if you paid nothing, except where the law forbids that cap.

Some places do not allow certain exclusions. In those places, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be limited.

12. Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify App Campus against claims, damages, and reasonable legal fees that arise from your content, your apps, your use of generated code, or your breach of these Terms, as permitted by law. We will notify you of a claim when we reasonably can.

13. Termination

You may stop using the Service and ask us to delete the account by emailing support@appcampus.co.

We may suspend or close an account if you breach these Terms, if payment is reversed, if we are required to by law, or if we shut the product down. If we discontinue the course for everyone, we will post a notice on https://appcampus.dev and, where practical, email the address on the account.

Sections that should survive (including intellectual property, AI responsibility, no warranty, limitation of liability, indemnity, and governing law) survive termination.

14. Changes

We may update these Terms. The "Last updated" date on this page is the current version. If a change is material, we will post it here. Continued use after the update is acceptance, as permitted by law. If you do not agree, stop using the Service and ask us to close the account.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, as permitted by law. If you are a consumer, mandatory protections of your country of residence still apply and are not waived.

Courts sitting in Brazil have jurisdiction, except that you may bring a consumer claim in the courts of your home jurisdiction where the law gives you that right. Before filing, please write to support@appcampus.co and give us a reasonable chance to fix the issue.

16. General

  • These Terms are the whole agreement for the Service and replace prior versions.
  • If a court strikes one clause, the rest stay in force.
  • A failure to enforce a clause is not a waiver.
  • You may not assign the contract without our consent. We may assign it in a transfer of the business.
  • Headings are for reading only.
  • These pages are a product contract, not personal legal advice.
